The CAS140CT-151 from Instrument Systems is an array spectrometer that operates from 360 to 830 nm. It has a spectral resolution of 2.2 nm. This device has a newly developed Crossed-Czerny-Turner spectrograph incorporating a high-end, back-Illuminated CCD detector that effectively reduces stray light, resulting in significantly improved dynamic range and measurement accuracy. The CAS 140CT is the only array spectrometer to include an optical density filter wheel, extending the measurable intensity range over 4 orders of magnitude. Measurements for both very weak and very strong light sources can thus be acquired fully automatically.

It is the perfect instrument for testing all optical parameters of LEDs, OLEDs, and solid-state lighting products. Fiber-optic connectors join the spectrometer to a comprehensive range of measurement adapters, creating a turnkey system well-suited for the most diverse spectroradiometric and photometric measurement tasks. It comes with an USB inter-face and an optionally available PCI interface is also available.
