The EV75C776 from e2V is a 16-megapixel CMOS image sensor with world’s smallest global shutter CMOS pixel (with 2.8 μm x 2.8 μm). This sensor enables cameras to perform better in high temperature environments and enable long exposures to be used in low-light applications such as microscopes or outdoor cameras for surveillance, speed or traffic applications. It provides frame rate of up to 110 fps at full resolution and 10 bits. The sensor has a high dynamic range of above 63 in normal mode and more than 70 in ultra-low noise mode suitable for night mode for photon starved applications. It is available in a 224 pins, CLGA package and is ideal for industrial machine vision, electronic inspection and intelligent traffic systems.
